ADNOC Floating stations, Northern Emirates of UAE
In 2013, Marinas Performance delivered a series of ADNOC floating fuel stations across the Northern Emirates, strengthening marine service access for local fishing communities, commercial vessels and recreational boaters. These installations provided a dependable fuelling solution in areas where land based infrastructure was limited, ensuring safe and efficient access to essential marine services.
Each station is constructed on a heavy duty pontoon platform engineered for long term stability in coastal conditions. The platforms support purpose built ADNOC fuel dispensing units, safety systems and operational equipment required for secure refuelling. The elevated structures and pile mooring arrangements help maintain consistent freeboard, allowing vessels to berth safely during both calm and variable tidal conditions.
The project included multiple locations across the Northern Emirates, each tailored to meet local traffic levels and site conditions. From small craft harbours to higher activity waterfronts, the floating stations were designed to accommodate a steady flow of vessels while maintaining ease of access for operators and users.
Delivered in 2013, these ADNOC floating stations continue to demonstrate the effectiveness of modular marine infrastructure in remote or constrained environments. The installations support ongoing economic activity and provide a reliable service point for thousands of vessels navigating the region’s coastal waters.
