New Deira Fish Market Marina, Dubai

Marinas Performance delivered the floating marina system for the New Deira Fish Market redevelopment in Dubai, supporting improved marine access for commercial vessels and providing a durable waterfront interface for one of the city’s busiest market precincts. The project required a long lasting pontoon solution capable of accommodating continuous vessel traffic and daily operational activity.

The installation comprises a permanent pontoon system using Elite concrete slab pontoons and Mega Elite modules, engineered for maximum durability and strong freeboard stability. These pontoons offer excellent load distribution and dependable performance in Dubai’s tidal and coastal conditions, making them well suited to both commercial fishing craft and service vessels operating in the area.

Heavy duty piles secure the marina layout, ensuring structural reliability during berthing, loading and manoeuvring. The clean deck finish and reinforced components allow for safe movement along the pontoons while supporting the functional needs of RTA related marine operations in the surrounding network.

Completed as part of the wider New Deira Fish Market upgrade, the marina provides an efficient and resilient waterfront asset that improves vessel handling, enhances operational flow and supports the long term growth of commercial activity within the precinct. The project demonstrates the capability of advanced pontoon systems to support essential working waterfront environments in Dubai.
