Construction of Floating Main Walkway & platforms at Al Mamzar, Dubai
In 2015, Marinas Performance delivered the floating jetty system for Dubai Municipality at Al Mamzar Beach, supporting improved public access and recreational use along one of the city’s most popular coastal destinations. The project required a durable, low maintenance solution capable of performing reliably in an active marine environment while integrating smoothly with the surrounding public beachfront.
The installation features a Superior Elite permanent pontoon system, engineered for long term structural performance and excellent freeboard stability. Reinforced concrete construction provides strong load bearing capacity and resilience against tidal variations, wave action and year round exposure.
The clean deck layout allows safe circulation for users accessing small craft, water taxis or community based marine activities.
A custom aluminium gangway connects the jetty to the shore, offering a comfortable gradient and reliable slip resistant walking surface suitable for all public users. The overall configuration has been designed to minimise visual impact while delivering dependable functionality for ongoing municipal operations.
