Construction of Fixed jetty and Floating pontoon at Al Sadieyat Island, Abu Dhabi
Marinas Performance successfully delivered the construction of a fixed jetty and floating pontoon system at Al Saadiyat Island, one of Abu Dhabi’s most prestigious waterfront destinations.
Saadiyat Island is recognised for its luxury residential communities, world class resorts and landmark cultural developments. With pristine shoreline conditions and protected coastal waters, marine access infrastructure must combine structural integrity with refined architectural presentation. This project was designed to meet those exacting standards.
The scope included the construction of a fixed jetty platform supported by marine grade piles, providing stable and secure shoreline access. Connected to the jetty is a floating pontoon system engineered to accommodate tidal variation while maintaining consistent alignment and safe boarding conditions.
As seen in the installation, the structure integrates seamlessly with the natural coastal environment. The elevated fixed platform offers durability and long term stability, while the floating pontoon adapts to water level changes, ensuring ease of use for vessels and operators.
Engineered to withstand marine exposure, wave action and environmental loading, the system incorporates corrosion resistant materials and precision fabricated components. The design prioritised safety, functionality and minimal visual impact, complementing the clean, contemporary character of Saadiyat Island’s waterfront.
This project highlights Marinas Performance’s capability in delivering bespoke marine access solutions across Abu Dhabi’s premium coastal developments, combining technical expertise with a commitment to quality and longevity.
