Al Marasy Marina, Al Bateen, Abu Dhabi
In 2012, Marinas Performance completed the floating pontoon system for Al Marasy Marina in Al Bateen, Abu Dhabi. The marina forms an important part of the Al Marasy residential development, providing secure berthing and high quality waterfront infrastructure within one of the city’s most desirable coastal precincts.
The installation covers a total pontoon area of nine hundred square metres, designed to accommodate a range of leisure and small commercial vessels. The layout was engineered to maximise berth capacity while maintaining generous manoeuvring space for safe navigation throughout the marina basin.
Constructed using durable materials suited to Abu Dhabi’s coastal environment, the pontoons provide excellent freeboard stability and long term performance. Integrated utility pedestals, fender systems and access connections help streamline daily use for residents and visiting boaters. The marina’s configuration also supports the broader waterfront activation of the Al Marasy precinct, creating an attractive and functional interface between land and water.
