2018 marks 30 years of operation for Superior Jetties®

For more than a decade, Marine Structures and Marinas Performance have worked side by side to deliver high-quality waterfront infrastructure across the region. What began as a straightforward supplier relationship has grown into a long-term partnership built on engineering excellence, consistent results, and shared standards for durability in harsh marine environments.

Marine Structures has long been recognised for innovation in floating systems, pontoons, marina design, and modular access solutions. Their product range – including Elite pontoons, Mega Elite heavy-duty concrete systems, gangways, wave attenuators, Seaflex mooring, and environmental platforms – has supported Marinas Performance across commercial, private, and municipal projects. A key milestone in this partnership came in September 2024, when Superior Jetties – a brand Marinas Performance had relied on for years – merged with The Jetty Specialist to form a new unified company, Marine Structures. The announcement was made publicly around 16 September 2024, with the rebrand combining the expertise and product libraries of both Queensland-based organisations. Superior Jetties’ well-known product identity was carried forward under the new Marine Structures banner, providing continuity while strengthening the technical and manufacturing depth behind every system.

This transition aligned naturally with Marinas Performance’s long-term approach. The combined capabilities of Marine Structures gave access to an even broader suite of engineered solutions, including advanced concrete systems, modular walkways, and environmentally focused platforms. For Marinas Performance, the merger ensured ongoing reliability, improved product innovation, and a wider technical support network for complex marine applications.

Over the years, the partnership has centred on selecting the right system for each environment, adapting designs to local conditions, and ensuring long-term performance.
